2015 CZHILISPIEL 43 – 5K Run & Walk
Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. The CZ43 5K Run/Walk starts at 8:30 a.m. Packet pickup and day of race registration is 7:00 - 8:00 AM. No mail out packets. Race Day Registration is $30 - no shirt.
!!!Register by midnight, Oct. 15th to ensure a dri-fit race shirt!!
Where: Race starts and finishes by the Largest Tented Biergarten at Czhilispiel 43. The run will head East on Hwy 90 then half way turn around and go West on Hwy 90 back to Czhilispiel. Registration will be in front of the Czhili Stage or under the tent if raining.
Course: Relatively flat and only one turn. Split times and water stops at 1 and 2 mile marks with refreshments at finish.
Awards: All entrants will receive a shirt, a Saturday Gate Pass, a Koozie & etc. Overall male and female and top masters male and female in the RUN will receive a special award. Top three finishers in each age group of the RUN will receive a medallion with neck ribbon. Age divisions for men & women in the RUN are 13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over. A shirt will be reserved, this year, for runners that sign up early. The top three male and top three female WALKERS will receive medallions with a neck ribbon also.
Entry Fee: $25 per runner/walker fee if registered by October 16, 2015. Late registration is $25 with no shirt and day-of registration will be $30 with no shirt. Entry fee is non-refundable. Make checks payable to “Czhilispiel 5K”. All proceeds go to Czhilispiel.
Info: Each year on the fourth full weekend in October, Flatonia is the sight of the second largest czhili cook-off in Texas. Czhilispiel has plenty of food and drink, arts & crafts, a carnival, Music for the young and old, children & adult games free parking and other entertainment.
